Join Us at our Events

We have an exciting and varied fundraising events calendar; from urging the Island to turn yellow in aid of patients and families, to raising thousands of pounds in the glorious setting of Barton Manor every summer and dashing around Ryde Esplanade dressed as Father Christmas. There's never a dull moment!

These events are planned and organised by our Fundraising Team at the Hospice, with the much-valued help of our volunteers, who are always a great help on the day as well.

2017 is a special year for Earl Mountbatten and our Island community, as we celebrate our 35th anniversary with a number of additional events planned. Keep checking back to find out more information, or check our Events calendar.

Our main hospice-organised events throughout the year are:
Earl Mountbatten Hospice's Walk the Wight - May
The Island's biggest fundraiser, this iconic event offers several different routes for all ages and abilities

Earl Mountbatten Hospice's Barton Manor Open Garden - July
Live music, arts and crafts, food and drink, games and entertainment in the grounds of the beautiful manor.

Earl Mountbatten Hospice's Osborne Run - September
A 3 & 5k fun run through the grounds of Queen Victoria's beloved home.

Go Yellow! - October
Wear, eat or do something yellow!

Christmas Fayre - November
A range of stalls and local crafts at this ever popular fayre in the John Cheverton Centre

Santa Dash - December
Walk, run or jog 5k around Ryde Esplanade

Lights of Love services - December
Remembering someone you love at Christmas

You can find full details of all our events here. You'll also see us out and about at many of the Island's events throughout the year, raising funds through our hospice sunflowers and umbrellas. Keep an eye out for us at events including the Isle of Wight Festival, Bestival, Cowes Week and many more!
