John Trotter, Trustee

John graduated from Nottingham University and spent his working life at Bates, Wells and Braithwaite (BWB) solicitors, where he was an Equity Partner and then a Senior Partner until his retirement in 2013 when he became a consultant.

During his time at BWB he became involved in acting for charities in constitutional and governance matters, and BWB is now considered to be the leading firm in the field of charity law.

He has, for some years, been a Trustee of The Lucy Faithful Foundation, and is also involved with a charity called The Watts Gallery.

John lives on the Island and, in his spare time, is a major shareholder and director of two companies involved in theatre production and merchandise.

"They anticipate my needs and I believe go the extra mile in ensuring the quality of my life is enhanced".
