Concert Series - Katie Marshall, Soprano

As part of our Earl Mountbatten Concert Series, we are delighted to announce an evening of classical music performed by award-winning Soprano Katie Marshall. 

Katie, 16, will be performing a selection of 
Sacred, Operatic and Musical Theatre pieces. 
She has performed at the O2 (Next Brit Thing) & alongside stars such as Julian Ovenden on the Downton Abbey Christmas CD.  She performed with André Rieu's Soprano, Mirusia Louwerse on her Tour in the Netherlands, was a guest soprano on G4’s Christmas & "Back For Good Tour" last year & BGT Jonathan Antoine's UK tour.
Katie has recorded a debut EP (2015) with the British Film Orchestra (Mastered at Abbey Road Studios) It includes a duet with Paul Phoenix (King's Singers) & John Brunning (Classic FM) sent over the score of his Pie Jesu for her to sing & worked with Katie at the recording.  
She is currently working on her second CD and is lookign to record with the Kent Sinfonia Orchestra. 
She supports many charities & has been made an Ambassador for the Prince’s Trust, Children’s Air Ambulance & The Born Free Foundation. Katie spends a lot of her free time performing for these charities both locally and across UK.

About our Earl Mountbatten Concert Series

Our established series of concerts to suit all musical tastes at Earl Mountbatten hospice feature the talents of professional musicians from the Isle of Wight and beyond.

Held every first Thursday of the month from 7:30pm, admission is £10 and includes canapes and wine.
