Earl Mountbatten Hospice operates a continual recruitment programme for volunteers, details of which can be found in the Introductory Programme
Whilst we are happy to register volunteers for roles in which they are interested but for which no current vacancy exists, we do of course seek to fill vacancies in areas where there is a known shortage.
Currently the Hospice has specific vacancies in the following roles
Warehouse – sorting donations
Drivers
Escorts
Gardeners
Receptionists
Retail assistants: Furniture & Homeware Shop, Holyrood Street
Retail assistants: Clothing & Book Shop, Lugley Street
Retail assistants: Ryde Shop
In-Patients (afternoons & evenings)
To undertake a voluntary role at the Hospice, it is not necessary to commit yourself to a regular weekly spot - we can offer flexible working arrangements, especially at weekends.
