Bank Registered Nurses and Health Care Assistants are required
to join our Community Mountbatten Nursing Service

 

Our team provides a day and night ‘sitting’ respite service to support patients who wish to remain at home in the last days or weeks of life.  The service provides support for hours during the day and overnight to provide much needed respite for families and informal carers.

Salary £22,128 to £28,746 (AfC Band 5 Registered Nurses)
Salary £15,404 to £18,157 (AfC Band 2 Health Care Assistants)

Staff Nurse

Inaptient Unit - Band 5 Agenda for Change

We welcome applications from all areas of nursing who have a keen interest in caring for patients with life limiting illness, combined with an ability to provide care in a compassionate and dignified manner. The ideal candidate would be expected to deliver the highest standards of care to our patients and have a keen interest in palliative care. Please note that due to the nature of the role a flexible approach including the ability to work nights and weekends are essential

This role is a Band 5 Agenda for Change, it will be based on our inpatient unti at the Hospice and will be for 30 hours per week, to be worked flexibility in accordance with the needs of the service

Bank Housekeepers

 Rate of Pay – £7.50 per hour plus holiday allowance

Bank Contract – including evenings and weekends

 
You will be required to work flexibly to cover the needs of the service during periods of Holiday, Absence and additional requirements.  Our housekeepers provide a high quality service to not only Clinical Areas but also Non Clinical areas throughout the Hospice.

You will ideally have previous experince of working with and around our patients and their visitors, although this is not essential.
 
Previous experience in a similar role is essential and preferably within a health care setting with knowledge of infection control procedures.
