Rosamond Poncia, Trustee

Rosamond was Head of Special Events and Corporate Department at national charity Save the Children for ten years and then left to set up a new charity, Action on Addiction, dealing with Drugs, Alcohol and Nicotine. She has volunteered most of her life, and says she meets interesting people doing amazing things for others.

Rosamond’s motivation for volunteering as a Trustee is that her husband died at the Hospice in 2009, so she says she saw at first hand the incredible work undertaken at the Hospice.  Her father died at the Trinity Hospice in London, so she says she has always believed in the importance of supporting them.

"It's another world...it's kept me in this world!"
