Our CQC rating

We are committed to providing the highest quality end of life services to Islanders in their own homes and in our Newport building. Our standards are monitored through a system of clinical governance to ensure they are maintained.

Care Quality Commission

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) monitors, inspects and regulates health and social care services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety. They will publish what they find, including performance ratings.

The CQC sets out what good and outstanding care looks like and makes sure services meet fundamental standards below which care must never fall.

Earl Mountbatten Hospice was last inspected by the CQC in January 2017.

"They look after you and they're so caring. I'm not frightened of dying."
