Carol Alstrom, Trustee

Carol is a registered nurse working across health and social care, and more recently with the Hospice, which has provided her with a wealth of knowledge and experience which, as a Trustee, she aims to use to support the mission, vision and values of Earl Mountbatten Hospice.

She is absolutely committed to providing high quality care in whatever setting she works, and is passionate about ensuring that the Hospice continues to provide care and support to the people of the Isle of Wight with life limiting illnesses.

She understands the responsibilities of a director of a healthcare organisation and also has had experience working with charitable fund committees and the Friends of St Mary’s.

"They look after you and they're so caring. I'm not frightened of dying."
