Is it time to update your Will?

EMH have teamed up with Island Solicitors to help you make a Will and raise money for the Hospice.

Our lives and circumstances change. We move homes. New grandchildren arrive. The charities we support may change. Solicitors recommend that we update our Wills every five years or so. So we are sure they reflect exactly what we want to happen after we have gone.

So during this October the Earl Mountbatten Hospice has arranged for a panel of solicitors on the Island to write or update Wills and give £100 of their fees for free, in return for you making a £50 donation to help patient care at the Hospice today. So saving you at least £50.

There is no absolutely no condition that you have to leave anything in your Will to the Hospice. You are free to decide how you want to share your estate.

Obviously the Hospice is dependent on everyone’s generosity to keep providing care to the Island now and in the years to come.

Indeed, in the years ahead, there will be more elderly people on the Island and the Hospice will not just be looking after cancer-sufferers but a variety of other life-shortening conditions. The demand for Hospice care will be greater than ever.

If you would be interested in taking advantage of this offer to make or update your Will during Hospice Make a will month this October, please contact Hospice Fundraising on 01983 528989 and they will send you a leaflet with all the details.
