George Hibberd, MBE
I am delighted to announce that George was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours at the weekend for “Services to the Earl Mountbatten Hospice”.
Naturally we are all thrilled to bits for George who deserves this honour for his commitment, dedication and youthful enthusiasm for EMH over many years and particularly his leadership as Chairman for the past 21 years.
I am sure you will wish to join with me in congratulating George on this achievement, which could not have come at a better time as he moves towards stepping down as Chairman and Trustee at the end of September.
