Over 5000 people have won in the first year of the Hospice Weekly Lottery
We launched our weekly lottery just two years ago. It is only £1 a week to play and already over 3500 people have joined in.
Best Lottery Odds on the Island
As there are 51 prizes every week, this gives the Hospice Lottery the best winning odds on the Island. And with that many prizes it’s not surprising that several people have won more than once. Mr & Mrs Whiteland have won six times between them, including the top £1000 prize and very kindly donated some of the winnings back to the Hospice. 406 have won twice or more.
Proceeds help provide care for Patients at a time when they need it most
So far Hospice Lottery has raised over £60,000 towards the cost of caring for over 800 patients we look after each year. Although the Hospice receives a grant of about a third of the running costs from the PCT we still have to find nearly £2.2 million each year to provide this service to the Island, which is free to patients at a very difficult time of their lives.
New Lottery Gift Vouchers
Now the Hospice has started offering Gift Vouchers for the Lottery, which make an ideal present and are easy for you to buy and to use. They are available for 13, 26 or 52 week periods. They will send you the vouchers and your recipient just rings the Helpline to activate their number. For more details.

How the Lottery works
Each weekly entry costs just £1.
When you join you will be given a unique number, which remains yours for as long as you wish - and you can have as many numbers as you like.
The lucky winners are chosen at random every Tuesday by an independent bureau.
Winners will receive their prize cheque in the post the following week. No need to claim! All winning numbers will be on the website and the jackpot winning number will be in the County Press.
How to join
Just download and complete the Application form with your preferred method of payment (or you can ring 01983 528989 and ask for an application form).
IW Council employees can pay their lottery entry directly from their wages, by completing the Council application form and sending it to us.
