There are lots of different challenges and adventures you can do and help raise funds for the Hospice. And the Hospice team can help you arrange your challenge and help with fundraising ideas to make your challenge a success.
Most of these challenges are organised by third parties and require a deposit to cover the cost of your participation. Then the balance of the money you raise goes towards supporting the care of patients at the Hospice.
You can do running and cycling events that range from the Great South Run to cycling from Dover to Paris.
Or maybe a driving challenge such as the Plymouth to dakar Rally in a car which costs less that £100.
Perhaps you want to walk the Great Wall of China or ride horseback over the Andes.
There are lots of different ideas.
We have many supporters who have done similar events and they are very happy to give advice as to what to expect and how to train.
At present we are looking for hardy fundraisers to take on the ultimate challenge of walking the Great Wall of China to raise funds for the Hospice. We are hoping to get our crew of adventurers ready to go by October 2010. If you're up for a serious challenge please call Fundraising on (01983) 528989 or email
