Cassie is a beautiful black German Shepherd dog who, with her owner Jillie Wheeler has raised thousands of pounds for the Island’s Hospice and other charities. Cassie exchanges pats and cuddles for a donation to the Hospice and because of her good looks and laid back nature attracts attention wherever she goes . She began her career early, when as a puppy her first collection raised £40.
Currently Cassie is raising £12,000 to buy a customised vehicle for the Hospice at Home team at Earl Mountbatten Hospice and the campaign is called “Cassie’s Wheels Appeal” To support this excellent cause Pets at Home allowed the Hospice to hold a grand draw at the Newport store and this raised £500. Pet Doctors are also supporting the campaign and pets and owners can take part in a raffle at the Riverbank Pet Hospital.
