Sailing the Wight 2008

Would you like to race or cruise around the Isle of Wight on 14th June? Why not help raise funds for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice near Newport, Isle of Wight.  Get sponsorship from friends or crew and help East Cowes Sailing Club and the WOA to raise money for a good cause (£6200 raised last year). 

There will also be an 18 nm race or cruise in the Solent for boats under 20ft or any others who wish to join a cruise around the Solent. Click here for application forms, sailing instructions and sponsorship forms. There is a prize for the crew raising the most sponsorship.

If you don’t fancy the trip round the Island you are more than welcome to just join us in the evening, there will be a Live Band, Bar and Barbecue at East Cowes Sailing Club also a brilliant raffle with lots of prizes donated by local marine industries.
